I was really glad when I saw my bunk mate sharing the gospel with the same guy I talked to – about Christianity – as well.
Continue to spread God’s love around
Was at Labrador Park and vivocity over the weekend to do some photography with Lawrence – photos are at my multiply site – http://www.cowism.multiply.com . Exhausting but it was satisfying to see how the pictures turned out – pretty reasonable I feel.
Anyway, it’s time to sleep! Will continue about the labrador park trip in the next entry!

Back in my teaching days, I used to read my students’ blogs and browse through my friends’ ones; somehow I actually can spend hours reading them. Nowadays, I would spend more time on spug, multiply and the photography forums. Not that I do not care or am becoming disinterested, but sometimes I get so maxed out in camp..
And as my 2 years NS liability is coming to an end, I reflect on what I’ve been doing for the past 2 years and before.
I do miss my teaching days and I may do it on a part time basis – still unsure. As I’m going into another area of study, people asked me why – the change of interest. I seriously don’t know – maybe the 2 years have diminished part of my passion and also MOE’s rejection, but somehow in my heart, I know that I will be back to teaching in the future.
Today is a crazy day – which I shall not elaborate. Yelled at my colleague for the first time – a tinge of desperation in my tone to help but at the same time feeling so helpless at being unable to talk things through over the phone with my friend.
I was at the Monash University – SSTI – BSW ‘open house’ and a social worker spoke on a case study on how to help a ‘person-in-need’. Amazingly, one has to go through the hassle of the whole ministry and the different ministries. Best part is that he didn’t speak on how the social worker can help on a personal basis. The cost of studying is rocket-high. The cost to pay for not being able to get into NUS, NTU and SMU. Haha
And oh, I managed to secure my deal for a 28-75mm tamron lens at 450 bucks with a close up filter. That guy volunteered to clean the lens at the service center for me
And my filters arrived. yay!

It has been a pretty tough week – people doing crazy things in camp, things happening in church and ministry. The weekend was – discouraging and draining. Was told to cover an event in church over the weekend. And how tough is it to shoot and trying to explore new angles without any inspiration and abit of self-confidence – especially today! . But somehow by God’s grace & favour the shots turn out pretty decently. And the unknown words of encouragement really helped.
Celebrated Maddy’s 22nd (old already ah!) at Surf & Turf on Friday evening. The food was decent – MSG loaded burger. The service even better – definitely worth the 10% service charge – prompt, warm and attentive considering it’s a informal-styled eatery. The fellowship was good
But everyone went home zonked out! Haha!
It’s all that little things in life that fills my heart with thanksgiving – God’s grace is indeed sufficient.
Looking at the week ahead – think I’m going to miss the T&E Class
And I bet it’s going to be an great and exciting week.
It’s really great when you’re really maintaining the relationship with God.
