work it

April 23, 2007

I hit the gym today – after 4 months. 5km on the treadmill (like a hamster running) and 4 repetitions of weight lifting left my body soft like bean curd. The day was just mundane! Boss wasn’t around and there weren’t much to do either. Took time to research on the degree courses I want to do and I really need to pray over this matter.

Returned to Clementi Town the other day with Maddy and boy is it so different now. And the great memories kept flooding back. From the canteen operator to my mentor then – Ms Wu, and to Mr Chin – the then NIE trainee who was Mrs Chan’s understudy back in Fairfield to the lovely students who still call me by Mr Teo. I won’t upload most of the pictures but these two kids caught my eye as I was reviewing the photos – especially with the boy with the candy floss. Oh yes, Daphne is the pang-seh queen..heh heh.. don’t say we pang-seh because your exams ended so late! :P

It feels that things are all not going too right now but I have to trust in the Lord. Even in cell and in all things basically. The sense of helplessness is like this heavy cloud hanging over me. I am just so tired at standing at the crossroads.

In my weakness, Jesus is my strength.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”
- 2Co 12:9

I just wanna know that His strength is only made perfect only in my weakness.
